SMARTLOCK – dual cutter locking function
Conventional routers often secure the cutter with a single mechanical clamp. With the KRYPTON 3, we have gone a step further and fitted it with the SMARTLOCK system, which guarantees 100 per cent reliability when working with hard materials. No play whatsoever, even at maximum speed. Vibrations are reduced to a minimum, which eases the strain on the operator’s hand and wrist.

EASY CONTROL – a function that allows you to instantly switch the direction of the bur’s rotation (forward/reverse) — without pauses or restarts
No more delays whilst working. With this function, you not only save your own time and your client’s time, but also significantly reduce the risk of the machine breaking down.

The Protection+ function is a smart system that automatically stops the nail drill in the event of overheating, preventing damage to both the device itself and the client’s nail plate
It also protects the nail drill from damage in cases where you have inserted a bit but failed to secure the lock on the handle properly, or have switched on the motor without fitting a bit at all. In such cases, the nail drill will emit an audible signal after 3–5 seconds; you will see error code E4 on the display, and the nail drill will automatically lock to prevent damage to the micromotor or collet.
All you need to do is pause briefly to allow the nail drill to reset.

The developers have also equipped the Krypton III with a professional ‘smart’ foot pedal, which allows you to adjust the drill’s rotation speed by the amount of pressure you apply — just like a car’s accelerator pedal.
